Excavators for rent in Dubai

Renting excavators in Dubai

Excavators dig trenches, foundations and bulk earthworks. Choose the machine around the digging depth, ground conditions and access to the work area. A compact excavator may suit restricted access; a larger tracked machine needs room to work and transport to site.

Use Ujrah to find listed excavators and contact the owner directly. Share the site location, work description and dates, then confirm the machine and any attachments before agreeing the hire.

Where to find them in Dubai

Dubai has the largest pool of pickups and tankers in the country. Drivers wait at stands in Al Quoz, Al Qusais and Ras Al Khor industrial areas and around Jebel Ali and Dubai Investment Park, so a truck for a Dubai site is rarely more than half an hour away. Dubai-plated trucks pick up anywhere in the emirate; for a job that starts in Sharjah or Ajman, check the listing's pick-up area first.

What to ask the owner

• What digging depth, reach and bucket width does this machine provide?
• Can the machine and its transport reach the site?
• Does the quote include the operator, fuel, delivery, collection and any breaker attachment?

Also called: excavator, tracked excavator, mini excavator, digging machine

Common questions

Excavator or backhoe loader?

An excavator is focused on digging with a rotating upper body. A backhoe combines a front loading bucket with a rear digging arm. Describe the work and access to the owner to choose between them.

Which excavator size should I choose for a UAE site?

Use the tonnage chips to narrow the listings, then give the owner the digging depth, ground conditions and entrance width. Tonnage describes the machine size; it does not tell you the bucket capacity or what it can lift. Confirm the exact model and attachment before hiring.

What should an excavator quote include for work in Sharjah or UAQ?

Send the site pin and work dates, and ask whether the quote includes the operator, fuel, delivery and collection. If you need a breaker, ask for it explicitly. Confirm transport access and the total for your site directly with the owner; Ujrah does not set the hire price.
