Puncture services for rent in Dubai

Renting puncture services in Dubai

A mobile puncture service is a van with a compressor, jacks and tyre tools that comes to the vehicle, whether it is a pickup on the road, a tanker at a site or a loader that cannot leave. In the UAE the word on the sign is بنشر (banshar), from the English puncture, and the vans are a familiar sight on the industrial roads.

They repair or replace tyres on cars, pickups, trucks and, with the right equipment, on forklifts and loaders. Most work is a call-out plus the repair, and the useful ones answer at night.

Where to find them in Dubai

Dubai has the largest pool of pickups and tankers in the country. Drivers wait at stands in Al Quoz, Al Qusais and Ras Al Khor industrial areas and around Jebel Ali and Dubai Investment Park, so a truck for a Dubai site is rarely more than half an hour away. Dubai-plated trucks pick up anywhere in the emirate; for a job that starts in Sharjah or Ajman, check the listing's pick-up area first.

What to ask the owner

• Which tyre sizes and vehicle types can they handle, especially truck and machine tyres?
• What is the call-out charge and what does a repair or a tube cost on top?
• Do they carry replacement tyres, or only repair yours?
• How far will they travel and how long until they reach the site?

Also called: mobile tyre repair, بنشر متنقل, puncture van, tyre service on site

How fast does a mobile puncture service arrive?
