Describe your job before you call
Send the owner these details
Send the weight and dimensions of the heaviest item, pallet count, lifting height and a photo of the unloading space. Share the site pin and gate contact, when the delivery truck arrives, how long you need the machine, and whether you need an operator. Describe paved or sandy ground, ramps and narrow entrances.
Choose the size
Start with the 3 ton, 5 ton, 7 ton or 10 ton chips. Ask the owner to check the machine's load chart for your load centre and lifting height; its nominal tonnage is not its capacity in every position. Confirm the forks or attachment and ground suitability before selecting it.
What changes the quote
Compare quotes for the same hours and scope: delivery to the site and collection afterwards, operator, fuel, waiting and overtime. Give the owner both the transport collection point and the working-site pin if you are arranging the machine's transport yourself.
Renting forklifts in Fujairah
Forklifts on UAE sites unload trucks, stack blocks and pallets, and feed materials to the floor where the work is. Diesel counterbalance forklifts of 3 to 10 tonnes are the norm outdoors; on rough ground a telehandler or boom loader does the job better.
Forklifts are hired by the day or the month with an operator, and often delivered to the site on a recovery truck, which is a cost to ask about. For a job that lasts weeks, a monthly rate with the operator's accommodation sorted is the usual arrangement.
Where to find them in Fujairah
Fujairah's fleet is smaller and concentrated near the port, the Fujairah industrial area and the road to Khor Fakkan and Dibba. Tankers and lowbeds for the east coast are often sent over from Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah, so a Fujairah-based vehicle saves real time; check the listing's base and pick-up area.
